Welcome to the South West Academy League, a thrilling new initiative designed to elevate the competition among our region's most talented young football players! After recognizing the growing demand for stronger competition, we are excited to unite our clubs to create a robust talent pathway for children aged 9 to 13. Our vision is to foster development through competitive play, ensuring that our young athletes are challenged and supported as they hone their skills.
Launching in October 2024, the league will feature two age groups: U11s for players born in 2014 and 2013, and U13s for players born in 2012 and 2011. Each club will nominate one team per age group, carefully selecting players through their talent identification processes. This initiative aims to enhance performance by providing competitive matchups that push our best players to excel.
Together, we can create a vibrant football community in the South West, where every game is a step forward in our players' journeys. We can't wait to see the excitement and growth that this league will bring! Join us on this incredible adventure!
